Use this page whenever you wish to send a word for inclusion in Roger’s Reference.

But, remember...

• The word(s) cannot already exist in Roger’s Reference. It must be a unique word, so it would not acceptable to simply make a plural by adding an 's' or 'es' to an existing word and sending that in.

• When sending a word, please also include the meanings and relevant dictionary reference i.e. name, edition, publish date.

• The meanings for word(s) must be conceptually different.

• And, most importantly, the word(s) must sound the same (not just similar ). For homonyms, that does not usually represent any problem. Homophones, however, are a different matter, as they are, by definition, spelt differently and are therefore subject to nuances of pronunciation. For homophones, it's always best to ensure that the phonetics of the words - as shown in a dictionary - are identical before submission.
